Car Lease Cost Estimate

It is a fact that most businesses or individuals today prefer leasing a car to buying. The reason most cited for this is the high costs associated with buying. The person that offers the car lease is the lessor while the party that takes it to use for the leasing period is the lessee. It is cheaper because you just have to pay for the duration you hire it for. If you buy a car then you pay for it in totality.

When setting out to lease a car, uppermost in your mind will be the price. The leasing price depends heavily on the type of car being hired and its age. The thirty percent deprecation rate on the vehicle during the first year is quite high, but it reduces to lower rates as the years progress. Car hire prices usually vary from the prices set by the manufactures.

You may also have to pay for sales tax which goes to the state. Have these in mind when considering leasing a car.

Do not be duped, however, into believing that the only payment you will make is the actual price. There are other factors to consider. You will have to pay for the refundable deposit. This is like a surety on the vehicle.

The monthly payment you or your business makes to the lessor is categorized into two parts. There is the price of the car hire and the second is the money you pay for the depreciation. After the leasing period, the price of the car will be reduced and the price of leasing factors in this.

As you can see, negotiating for a lower car leasing value than value set by the manufacture is advisable. Not all manufactures will agree to this, however. They have to make profits and this is understandable; theirs is business and not charity. If you do not agree with a lessor then just move to the next one and see if you can agree.
