How to Fax Online – Send and Receive Faxes Online

The number of people who are questioning whether they can use online fax is increasing. The ease of faxing online versus an actual fax machine is so much easier. It does not matter what computer you use or where it is – faxes can be sent and received.

It is very easy to send and receive faxes online. All it takes is 4 steps as follows:

Find an established fax company by searching online. They will be much more reliable. The feedback they receive from former customers will tell you a lot. There are many ways to check out a fax company, so there’s no excuse for not making sure they are a dependable company. Take a look at their website and see if it looks professionally done. When you find one, simply go to their page on the web and register.

Make sure that the provider has a fax number in the location you need. Check out their monthly price and whether they have a free trial period (most companies give a 30 day free trial). Also make sure you understand what the monthly price includes. You will want to know how many faxes you can send and receive for that price, and how much it costs to send and receive extra pages.

Your next step is finding a locale and a number for your fax. Many have numbers that are free toll calls. If not, you will have to choose an area code. There are some companies that will allow you to choose your own number (one that is meaningful to you) for a charge. This is just an option and if you prefer to choose a number from the choices you are given it will do the same thing. When receiving a fax it will come to the number you choose and into your inbox in your email. Then do whatever you want to do with it. Add to that the faxes you send will show this number as the sending number.

Number three is very simple and easy to understand. The form they provide must be filled out with your information and the next thing you know – you have a fax number so you can fax from your computer.

That’s it. You are all set up and you can start sending and receiving faxes by email right away. You will now receive your faxes in your inbox. You can also send faxes from your email. You will be sent exact instructions by the provider you chose explaining how to fax online. Remember – it’s just like sending an email with an attachment. So if you can send an email you also know how to fax online.
