How To Remove Body Hair

A large number of individuals face the problem of unwanted hair and struggle to get results even after experimenting with several techniques of hair removal. What hair removal technique is best suited for you depends on factors like the concentration or location of hair growth, the type of your skin and its sensitivity.

Shaving is the most widespread method of getting rid of unwanted hair. While shaving is effective and inexpensive, it isn’t long lasting and you need to do it frequently to maintain hair-free skin. For instance, men generally shave their facial hair on a daily basis. Shaving is also widely practised for the removal of hair on chest and legs.

Another technique is waxing hair off the body. It is a messy procedure that can usually not be done in the house without outside assistance. The advantage of waxing is that the hair is extracted from the root, and it takes twelve to fifteen days to grow back, ensuring freedom from unwanted hair for a longer time. However, the procedure hurts a lot and it might not be suited for removal of hair from sensitive areas.

Application of hair removal cream is yet another often used technique, and since its application is simple, you can do it on your own. While this is free from pain, the hair reappears quicker than in the case of waxing. The skin can also react to the components of the cream resulting in appearance of ugly rashes.

People having unbalanced hair growth can choose to have hair taken from higher hair growth areas and get hair transplant done in areas with lesser growth. Such a process is generally complicated and must be avoided if possible.

The last technique, also the costliest of all, is laser hair removal treatment. Permanent freedom from hair is the best advantage of laser treatment. But in order to avoid scarring or other accidents, it must only be done by experienced professionals.
